MML2023 Header

MML symposium is to bring together scientists working on magnetic and non-magnetic metallic multilayers and heterostructures in order to share expertise and experience. The main emphasis of the symposium is on new developments in metallic, magnetic and superconducting heterostructures yielding novel physical phenomena as well as applications.

MML 2023 Symposium will be held at Korea University from July 24 to 28, 2023, and Park Systems will participate in the symposium to introduce excellent AFM technology and various AFMs, including the Park FX40.

MML 2023

Since the inaugural meeting at Kyoto, Japan in 1993, the International Symposium on Metallic Multilayers has been held in celebrated places around the world; including Cambridge (1995), Vancouver (1998), Aachen (2001), Boulder (2004), Perth (2007), Berkeley (2010), Kyoto (2013), Uppsala (2016), and Madrid (2019). Continuing with this rich tradition and success, the 11th conference will be held in Seoul, Korea.

The traditional central thrust of the MML symposia series is to bring together scientists working on magnetic and non-magnetic metallic multilayers and heterostructures in order to share their expertise and experience. The main emphasis of the symposium is on new developments in metallic, magnetic and superconducting heterostructures yielding novel physical phenomena as well as applications. The scope of the 2023 symposium will include the spin dependent transport, Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya interaction, spin-orbit torque, skyrmion, neuromorphics, antiferromagnetic spintronics, magnetic nano-structures, and emergent phenomena in metallic multilayers. Especially, we also expand our scope to 2D van der Waals spintronics and various applications including bio, sensor, transport, energy, energy conversion etc. in Seoul meeting.
